Tom Thibodeau reacts to Donovan Mitchell's and Kevin Love's big game vs Knicks

Donovan Mitchell (38 points) and Kevin Love (29 points) carried the Cavaliers to a win against the Knicks (121-108).

New York held a 9-point lead after three quarters, but Cleveland rallied in the fourth quarter, winning it 37-15, to earn their fifth win of the season.

The winners made 23 three-pointers in this game. They came mainly from three players: Mitchell (8), Love (8) and Dean Wade (6).

Knicks’ head coach Tom Thibodeau talked about how his team failed to guard the Cavs players in this game.

Via Peter Botte of New York Post:

“Mitchell and Love [were] a problem. Obviously, Mitchell is going to command a lot of attention and he did … and we didn’t close as hard as we needed to,” coach Tom Thibodeau said. “We just gotta close … Mitchell, 13 3s, the ones off the dribble, those are tougher, but he shoots them well. And then Love, that’s been his strength for a long time. And Wade.”
