The Houston Rockets have secured a significant future with center Alperen Sengun, who has agreed to a five-year, $185 million rookie extension, according to ESPN NBA Front Office insider Bobby Marks. This deal includes a player option for the final year, adding flexibility to Sengun’s contract.
Sengun, 22, has quickly emerged as a cornerstone for the Rockets. Last season, he showcased his skills by averaging a career-best 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5 assists in 32.5 minutes per game.
