The World Series matchup has been sent, and it’s baseball’s two most expensive payrolls.
Do we hate that?
I have three responses.
First, it’s objectively fun that baseball’s most famous players are getting featured on the biggest stage. It’s good for the sport, and it’s compelling to watch.
Second, it’s objectively good for people to be reminded that the Yankees are a pretty darn good baseball team so that when the Rays beat them it means more!
Third, NO! Money doesn’t buy championships (although it might buy regular season wins).
