Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Nico Iamaleava was having a rough time against Alabama in the first half of his team’s game against the Crimson Tide at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Saturday.
An injury he suffered didn’t help things.
Iamaleava was sacked by Justin Jefferson early in the second quarter and exited the game. He was replaced by Gaston Moore, who immediately threw an interception.
Minutes later, ESPN reporter Molly McGrath reported that Iamaleava was dealing with a hip injury.
According to McGrath, the Tennessee quarterback “was clutching his left side in pain in their injury tent. He looked a little rattled but told teammates, ‘I’m OK,’” according to McGrath.
