The New York Giants hosted the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football in a battle of NFC East Rivals both hoping to get back to .500 after Week 4.
In a game that was an absolute penalty flag fest, the Giants struggled to run the ball against the worst defense in the league against the run entering the week. Despite that, they were able to move the ball efficiently throughout the game.
However, they would have to settle for five field goals while keeping the game close late into the fourth quarter.
Although the Giants owned the Cowboys in time of possession, the difference in the game was the two first-half touchdowns that the Cowboys were able to punch in.
