We’ve got lineups for the middle game of this three-game series between the Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies. As you can imagine, there’s one name that you can expect to not see in Atlanta’s lineup this evening. It’s time to see who’s replacing him and what the rest of the lineup looks like as well.

As you would expect, Whit Merrifield is not in the lineup after exiting last night’s game when he got hit with a pitch near his head. While Merrifield did avoid a concussion, he’s surely still smarting from what happened last night so it’s totally understandable that he’s sitting out tonight’s game. Luke Williams is getting the start at second base and batting ninth. Meanwhile, Travis d’Arnaud is getting the start at catcher tonight and batting fifth.

The Rockies loaded up their lineup with right-handers (or poor saps) to take on Chris Sale and now that Charlie Morton is in there, they’ve got a lineup that looks more like something that you’d expect to see from Colorado this season. Noted Braves Villain Charlie Blackmon is DH’ing and batting leadoff and old friend Sam Hilliard is in right field and batting eighth.
