The Atlanta Braves will try to put an end to a three-game skid Wednesday night when they continue a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Chris Sale will get the start for Atlanta while Milwaukee will go with right-hander Freddy Peralta.
The Braves haven’t scored a run in two games and have been outscored 20-0 dating back to the fourth inning of Saturday’s game against the Marlins. Despite the struggles, they aren’t making significant changes to their lineup for Wednesday’s game. Orlando Arcia remains in the fifth spot in the order. Adam Duvall starts in left against the right-hander in place of Eddie Rosario and is hitting sixth. Sean Murphy is 7-for-23 over his last eight games and will be back behind the plate and batting seventh.
For the Brewers, William Contreras will catch and hit cleanup. Willy Adames, who homered twice in Tuesday’s game, is back at shortstop and batting fifth. Blake Perkins gets a start in center field and will hit seventh.
First pitch for Wednesday’s game is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports South.
