This will be the Braves’ fourth doubleheader of the season and their second in five days. They split a twin bill with the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday. The forecast is calling for storms again on Wednesday so it could be a touch and go situation. The Braves will have to fly to New York following Wednesday’s game where they will begin a series with the Mets Thursday. The Reds are off Thursday before heading to Tampa Bay.
The Braves will start Allan Winans in Game 1 and then go with Tuesday’s scheduled starter Chris Sale in Game 2.
