The Atlanta Braves are taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks after their dramatic extra innings win last night.
Tonight’s matchup will feature a premium pitching matchup. Of course, that seems to happen fairly often with the top three that the Braves’ rotation currently has. Tonight will feature the Diamondbacks’ staff ace Zac Gallen in his third start since returning from injury against the NL FIP, WHIP, and SO/W leader, Chris Sale.
This could be a low scoring affair that comes down to the bullpen if each SP continues how they have been pitching this season. Fortunately for the Brave, Arizona’s bullpen has the sixth worst ERA and fifth worst xFIP so far this season in MLB.
