The Atlanta Braves look for their sixth straight victory against the Chicago Cubs dating back to September of last year as Chris Sale takes the mound. The Braves are 4-0 in his last four starts and the pitching staff as a whole has given up five total runs.
Old friend Dansby Swanson is still on the 10-day IL and Austin Riley is still day-to-day so the former teammates will not be sharing the diamond together tonight.
The Braves’ hitters will face Jameson Taillon who has been fantastic as of late. He currently owns a sterling 1.13 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over 24.0 innings pitched.
We could be in for another low scoring battle between the two squads.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:20 ET.
