The NFL announced on Thursday evening that 13 of the top prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft will be in attendance to hear their names called on April 25 in Detroit.
The most noteworthy prospects in attendance will be three of the top quarterback prospects: USC’s Caleb Williams, North Carolina’s Drake Maye and LSU’s Jayden Daniels.
All three are expected to be top-five picks and may even be the first three picks taken in the draft.
The Chicago Bears, Washington Commanders and New England Patriots own the first three picks, respectively, and all have major needs at quarterback. This is regarded as one of the stronger quarterback drafts in recent memory and could have as many as five or six signal-callers taken in the first round. Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy, Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. and Oregon’s Bo Nix are also potential first-round picks at the position.
