The Athletics have claimed Tyler Nevin off waivers, as per an announcement from the Orioles. Baltimore designated Nevin, Ryan McKenna and Nick Maton for assignment in the lead-up to Opening Day, and McKenna and Maton have both cleared waivers and have been outrighted to the Orioles’ Triple-A club.
