The New Orleans Pelicans will miss Brandon Ingram for at least another week, per ESPN’s Andrew Lopez.
On his way to a potential return from a left toe sprain, Ingram gained a small setback in his rehabbing process. Further imaging has shown from last week that he has a bruise, which prompted the club to be cautious about his condition.
Ingram has missed his eight-straight game this Tuesday, as the Pelicans have dropped against the Utah Jazz on the road.
Thankfully even without his presence, New Orleans kept blazing as a Conference power. They have won their last seven games en route to the West’s top slate with an 18-8 record so far.
In 15 games played, the star swingman is averaging 20.8 points, 5.1 boards, 4.7 assists in 47.2 percent shooting.
