The 2024 MLB Futures Game is a showcase for many of the game’s hottest prospects. The 2024 offering is no different and will include a number of Top 100 prospects across baseball. The 2024 event will also include a first ever Futures Skills Showcase that will feature eight players competing in a three round hitting contest.
The Futures Game will get underway at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 13 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. It will be carried live on MLB Network and streamed on MLB.tv, MLB.com and will also be available in the MLB App. The Skills Challenge will air on tape delay at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday, July 14 on MLB Network
Catcher Drake Baldwin will represent the Atlanta Braves in the Futures Game. Baldwin is currently at Gwinnett where he is hitting .310/.431/.512 with five home runs in 102 plate appearances. He’s hitting .264/.351/.390 with nine homers in 73 games between Double A and Triple A.
